Rezyto ("we," "us," "our") is owned and operated by Shrisharnam-Technologies Private Limited.
2. Personal data we collect, and why
We collect each category of data below for the specific purpose stated — we do not use any category of data for a purpose beyond what's listed here.
Name, email, phone number
Purpose: to create and secure your account, and to contact you about your account.
Google account info (name, email, photo)
Purpose: only if you choose Sign in with Google, to verify your identity and create your account.
Location (GPS or approximate, from IP)
Purpose: to verify where a product scan occurred, as part of anti-counterfeiting checks. Optional — the app will ask your permission first.
Camera access
Purpose: solely to read QR codes on products. We do not store photos or video from your camera.
Delivery address and contact number
Purpose: only collected if you redeem points for a gift, to ship it to you.
Complaint/review text and photos
Purpose: only if you submit a complaint or review, to investigate and respond to it.
Scan history and device/technical information
Purpose: to show your scan history to you, and to detect fraudulent or automated scanning.
3. Who we share data with
We share only what's necessary with service providers who help us run the app: cloud storage for uploaded photos, email delivery for login codes, location lookup services, and Google (for Sign in with Google). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Blockchain product records
Some product information is recorded on a blockchain ledger to help prevent tampering. This never includes your personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal profile data promptly. Scan history, gift fulfillment records, and complaints may be retained in de-identified form for fraud prevention and recordkeeping, as permitted by law.
6. Data security
We use encrypted connections and standard security measures to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
Rezyto is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app and update the date above.
